The consistency of its actions and the clarity of its objectives in Zona Franca's strategic plan made it possible to execute the entire planned roadmap and externally validate our corporate management through a set of certifications. However, Consorci's responsible actions went beyond this, presenting its business project nationally as a model of a public company with responsible actions and unique initiatives.

In this period, we have continued to establish alliances with associations and key agents in the productive system, sharing common goals of social and economic progress. This action strengthened our efforts towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda.

In the Zona Franca, we work to make things happen

Trust in the power and projection of public-private collaboration is part of our DNA, both from a business perspective and in keeping with our social commitment.

Boosting Barcelona’s international projection

The CZFB is part of the city and its surrounding area’s economic-social projection internationally. We need to share our achievements, and that’s precisely what we do.

An equitable working environment

We promote gender equality and equal opportunities in the workplace across all our activities and strive to make women in the industrial environment more visible.

We promote training and cultivate talent to compete for our companies and society. Key aspects of this include openness to new sectors, adaptation to change, the incubation of emerging companies, and their visibility at events.

“We are already planning," he noted, "the expansion of DFactory Barcelona with a second phase that will allow us to reach nearly 60,000 m², positioning us as the European country with the largest Industry 4.0 project and one of the great global references.”

Blanca Sorigué closed the session by reminding attendees that “the CZFB is fully aligned with sustainability and innovation, which are essential to progress. We are an active agent with more than 100 years of history, a driving force in the Barcelona metropolitan area, and we are constantly moving to generate opportunities for the development of the industry of the future.”. She also added the importance of “not only being agents of transformation but also catalysts for the innovation and growth of companies.”.
