The heart of this district is DFactory Barcelona, an open innovation ecosystem covering 17,000 m² that hosts companies and research centers dedicated to Industry 4.0. It has already begun its expansion project that will increase its surface area to nearly 60,000 m².

Radio programs Aquí Cataluña from Cadena Ser, dedicated to the industry of the future, with participation from Blanca Sorigué, and Revolució 4.0 from Catalunya Radio, which featured different companies installed in this ecosystem, were broadcast from DFactory Barcelona. DFactory Barcelona Phase II

New Boost to Innovation in District 4.0

The second phase of DFactory will take advantage of the area adjacent to the initial headquarters to consolidate a proposal for innovation and sustainable development in the industrial sector. This concept, with international projection, will enhance aspects such as new manufacturing modes through technological hybridization, extending to the rest of the Zona Franca area. Its catalytic effect could reach 100 million euros in investment.
